Installed my new X slide on my 365. No issues mounting the Romeo Zero. Problem is the slide will not go into battery. Tried with snap caps loaded in 12 rd. mag and no go. Only put 1 in and still will not go into battery. I have to hit the rear of the slide to go into battery.BTW - it's reported the P365 have had a tendency to increase it's trigger pull over the last 4 years of manufacture. Initial reports were of pulls as low as 5 and fractions of a pound, now it's over 6+. No clean break like I'm used to. I have 226 is, 229 to 210, 220, 320s none of them have a trigger like that.And of course keeping the flat trigger in the P365 with the XL grip module. This would accomplish making it into an 'X' at no cost. The second 'XL' would have an XL slide with a standard grip module but with the 12-round mag so really not much of a difference. The P365X has the same grip frame as the XL, so yes. The 12 round extended mags from the standard P365 can work but you need to change out the magazine base pad. The 10 rounders won't work unless they are the restricted versions of the XL magazine.Shoot them a few times. Take them apart and put them back together. Check the follower for left over swarf or debris. Check the feet of the follower for casting residue or anything else that would prevent it from reaching full depth.
